ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at different ways to help preserve the bone in the jaw after a tooth is taken out. Specifically, it compares three methods: one that uses a special type of tooth material (called autogenous demineralized dentin graft) combined with a healing gel that includes a medicine to fight infection, another that uses the same tooth material with just the healing gel, and the last one that uses the tooth material alone. The goal is to see which method is most effective at keeping the jawbone healthy after the removal of infected teeth that can't be saved.
To be part of this study, participants need to have a single-rooted tooth that can't be fixed and is infected, but they should not have an active infection at the time of extraction. The trial is open to both men and women aged between 18 and 75. Participants will be required to sign consent forms and attend follow-up appointments to monitor their progress. It's important to note that people who are pregnant, have smoking habits, or have certain health conditions that could affect healing may not be eligible to join.
