ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring whether using augmented reality (AR) devices can help pediatric healthcare teams perform better during emergencies like cardiac arrest in children. The goal is to see if AR technology improves adherence to important life-saving guidelines from the American Heart Association, reduces medication mistakes, and allows teams to give the first dose of a critical medicine called epinephrine more quickly. The study will involve 70 participants who will be randomly divided into two groups: one will use AR devices, while the other will rely on a standard reference card for guidance.
To be eligible for this trial, participants must have a background in pediatric care, such as being a doctor or nurse specializing in emergency medicine, pediatrics, or critical care. They should also have completed basic life support training. Participants will take part in simulated emergency scenarios to test their performance. This trial is currently recruiting, and it's a great opportunity to contribute to improving emergency care for children.
