ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how Pilates exercises can help postmenopausal women who experience stress urinary incontinence (SUI), which is the accidental leakage of urine when they laugh, cough, or exercise. The goal is to see if doing Pilates can improve this condition for women aged 50 to 60 who have mild to moderate SUI and have had two or more vaginal deliveries.
To be part of the study, women must be at least 12 months past their last period, have a body mass index (BMI) under 30, and lead a mostly inactive lifestyle. However, women with certain medical conditions or previous surgeries related to the bladder or uterus will not be eligible. If you qualify and choose to participate, you'll be involved in exercises designed to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles, which may help reduce urinary leakage. This study is not yet recruiting, so stay tuned for updates if you are interested!
