ClinConnect Summary
The Preeclampsia Registry is a research study aimed at understanding conditions related to high blood pressure during pregnancy, such as preeclampsia, eclampsia, and HELLP syndrome. By collecting health information from women diagnosed with these conditions, their family members, and women who have never experienced high blood pressure during pregnancy, researchers hope to learn more about why these issues happen and how to predict and treat them better. This study will use a simple web-based survey to gather information and may involve reviewing medical records.
To participate, you must be a woman diagnosed with preeclampsia or a related condition, a female or male relative of someone affected, or a woman who has never had these issues and wants to help as a control participant. If you join, you may be contacted for future studies or to provide a sample for research. This long-term project aims to build a valuable resource for ongoing studies that will advance our understanding of preeclampsia and improve care for women in the future.
