ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focused on creating a tool that helps hospitals evaluate how well they follow the European Standards of Care for Newborn Health (ESCNH). These standards provide guidelines for the best ways to care for newborns, especially those who need special or intensive care. By developing this self-assessment tool, hospitals across Europe will be able to measure their care practices, identify differences in how care is provided, and ultimately work towards improving the care of newborns. To do this, healthcare professionals and parent representatives will participate in a structured group discussion to gather feedback, followed by testing the tool in at least 10 hospitals to ensure it works well and is easy to use.
To be eligible for this trial, participants should be either parent representatives of infants who received special care or healthcare professionals working in fields like neonatology, midwifery, or hospital management. However, those who do not have a strong understanding of English or who work in unrelated industries will not be included. Participants can expect to contribute valuable insights that will help shape the tool and improve newborn care across Europe. It's important to note that this trial is not yet recruiting participants, so there will be no immediate involvement.
