ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the safety and effectiveness of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for managing pain after heart surgery. Researchers want to see if these pain-relief medications can be safely used in patients recovering from surgeries like aortic valve replacement or coronary artery bypass grafting. They believe that, despite concerns about possible side effects like increased bleeding or kidney problems, NSAIDs can be a safe option for treating pain right after surgery.
To participate in the trial, patients must be scheduled for specific types of heart surgery and be between the ages of 65 and 74. They also need to be part of the French national healthcare system and provide written consent to join the study. Participants can expect to receive NSAIDs as part of their pain management plan and will be monitored closely for any side effects. It's important to note that certain conditions, like being under 18, having a certain weight, or having specific medical histories, may prevent someone from being eligible to participate.
