ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how technology-based rehabilitation can help adults with rheumatic diseases that affect their hands. Specifically, researchers want to see if using a special device called the Leap Motion Controller can improve things like hand movement, grip strength, and overall hand function. They will compare the results of this technology-based approach to traditional hand therapy led by a physiotherapist and to a control group that continues their usual daily activities.
To be eligible for this study, participants must be at least 18 years old and have a diagnosed rheumatic disease that causes pain, swelling, or tenderness in their hand joints. They also need to have been on stable medication for the past six months and be able to cooperate with the study requirements. If you or someone you know fits this description and is interested, this trial could provide valuable insights into new ways to manage hand symptoms related to rheumatic diseases.
