ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how new tests can help doctors find pulmonary hypertension (PH), a condition where the blood pressure in the lungs is too high. Researchers want to see if adding new markers from echocardiograms (a type of heart ultrasound) and ECGs (electrocardiograms that measure heart electrical activity) can improve the way we detect this condition. They aim to answer important questions about whether these new markers can suggest if someone has PH and if they can enhance the current guidelines we use to screen for it.
To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have had certain heart tests, including a transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE), ECG, and right heart catheterization (RHC) as part of your regular medical care. Unfortunately, if you are under 18, have known heart defects, or have opted out of having your data used for research, you won't be eligible. While the study is not yet recruiting participants, those who join can expect to contribute to important research that could help improve how we diagnose pulmonary hypertension in the future.
