ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring a new online program designed to help people manage pain caused by chronic pancreatitis and acute recurrent pancreatitis. Many individuals suffer from severe abdominal pain, which can greatly affect their everyday lives. The goal of this study is to provide a helpful, evidence-based approach to pain management that participants can access via the internet, using their own devices like smartphones or computers. By participating, individuals can learn techniques to cope with their pain better and potentially improve their overall quality of life.

To be eligible for the trial, participants must be at least 18 years old, have a diagnosis of chronic pancreatitis or acute recurrent pancreatitis, and have experienced moderate to severe pain recently. They should also be comfortable using the internet or be able to borrow a device for the study. However, individuals currently receiving certain cancer treatments or who are experiencing suicidal thoughts cannot participate. If you join the study, you can expect to follow an online program that provides strategies for managing your pain effectively, with the hope of sharing these benefits with others in the community.
