ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different cleaning solutions used during dental treatment can affect pain and healing in molar teeth that have a specific type of damage called necrotic open apex. The researchers will use three types of solutions—EDTA, Etidronic Acid, and Citric Acid—to see which one helps patients feel better after treatment and promotes healing over a year.
To participate, candidates should be between 8 and 15 years old, have molar teeth with open tips that need treatment, and should not have any major health issues or gum disease. It’s important that these teeth have not been treated before and that participants haven’t taken certain medications recently. If you join the study, you can expect to receive one of the irrigation solutions during your treatment and to be monitored for a year to track your pain levels and how well your teeth heal. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and both boys and girls can take part.
