ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different types of nerve blocks can help improve recovery after hip surgery. Specifically, researchers are looking at techniques like the pericapsular nerve block, fascia iliaca compartment block, and femoral block, all of which are used to manage pain before surgery. The goal is to see if these methods can make a difference in how well patients recover from surgery when combined with spinal anesthesia.
To participate in this study, individuals should be between 18 and 85 years old and have planned hip surgery for a fracture. They should not have certain conditions that could complicate the procedure, such as multiple fractures, bleeding disorders, or allergies to local anesthetics. Participants can expect to receive the nerve blocks as part of their pain management plan and will be monitored to see how these treatments affect their recovery. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it's a chance to contribute to better pain management practices in hip surgery.
