ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring a new tool called the Spotlight AQ survey to see if it can help improve diabetes management for young people aged 16 to 25 who have Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). The main goals are to find out if using the Spotlight AQ survey before clinic visits can lower blood sugar levels (measured by A1c) and to see how much patients and doctors like using this tool compared to the usual pre-visit assessments.

To participate, individuals must be between 16 and 25 years old, have been diagnosed with T1D for at least six months, and be using a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM). They should also be able to communicate in English or Spanish. Participants will complete the Spotlight AQ survey before two routine clinic visits and may share their thoughts about the survey through interviews. The trial is currently looking for eligible participants, so if you or someone you know fits the criteria, this could be a great opportunity to contribute to diabetes care research.
