ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a special feature of ventilators designed to improve how well patients breathe with the machine. It looks at how often patients have difficulty matching their breathing with the ventilator's support in two different groups under specific conditions. The goal is to see if this new analysis function can help reduce these mismatches, which can make it easier for patients to breathe comfortably.
To participate in this trial, you need to be an adult (18 years or older) who requires help with breathing using a ventilator and is able to breathe on your own at times. You will need to agree to take part and sign a consent form. Unfortunately, some people may not be eligible, including those who are pregnant, have serious brain injuries, or are involved in other research studies. If you participate, you can expect to have your breathing closely monitored to help the researchers learn more about how to improve ventilator support for patients.
