ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying how effective peer education programs are for teenagers aged 12 to 18 who have asthma. The research aims to see if learning about asthma from peers and adults through technology can improve their quality of life, asthma control, and confidence in managing their condition. The trial will take place in two phases: first, training peer mentors, and then assessing how well the education helps the participants.

To take part in this study, adolescents must be between 12 and 18 years old, have been diagnosed with asthma for at least three months, and not have other chronic illnesses. They should also have a smartphone, reliable internet access, and be comfortable using technology. Participants will fill out questionnaires to share their experiences and feelings about asthma. The study is currently recruiting, so if you or someone you know fits the eligibility criteria and is interested, this could be a great opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and support while being part of important research.
