ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a technique called the Erector Spinae Plane Block, which may help manage pain for patients undergoing cervical spine surgery, such as spine fusion or treatment for spinal diseases. The researchers want to see how this method affects pain levels, recovery after surgery, and its ability to reduce inflammation. The trial is currently looking for participants aged 18 to 100 who are scheduled for specific types of cervical surgery.
To join the study, participants should be in good health (with a physical status rating of 1, 2, or 3) and not have a history of opioid abuse or infections at the injection site. Those who decide to participate can expect to receive the Erector Spinae Plane Block during their surgery and will be monitored for their pain and recovery progress afterward. This trial aims to improve how pain is managed in patients undergoing cervical spine procedures, which is important for enhancing their recovery experience.
