ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how patients with cancer feel about their security and access to care when they have the option to visit a specialized palliative care clinic. Palliative care focuses on improving the quality of life for patients by relieving symptoms and providing support. The study will compare the experiences of patients who have access to this clinic with those who do not, and it will also gather feedback from their family members about the care they received.
To be eligible for the study, participants need to be patients admitted to a specific care unit and aged between 65 and 74 years. Unfortunately, those with cognitive impairments or who cannot complete a questionnaire in Swedish, Arabic, or Serbo-Croatian will not be included. If you choose to participate, you can expect to share your thoughts and feelings about your healthcare experience, which can help improve care for others in the future. The trial is currently recruiting, and all genders are welcome to participate.
