ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how changes in blood pressure at home can affect heart health and metabolic conditions in people with high blood pressure, also known as hypertension. Over three years, researchers will use a mobile app called Healthscan to help participants monitor their blood pressure daily. The main goal is to see if the way blood pressure varies at home can predict serious heart issues, such as heart attacks or strokes.
To be part of this study, you need to be 19 years or older and have been diagnosed with high blood pressure. You should also have been taking blood pressure medication regularly for at least two years and have access to a home blood pressure monitor. Participants will be asked to keep track of their blood pressure through the app, and the study aims to help us understand more about how everyday blood pressure changes relate to overall health. If you meet these criteria and are interested, this could be a great opportunity to contribute to important health research.
