ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new device called the SURA electrodevice, which is designed to help people who have had a stroke improve their walking ability. After a stroke, many individuals need to relearn how to move, and this device aims to provide special sensory feedback to help engage the brain and spinal cord in that process. The trial will look at how using this device affects different aspects of walking, such as balance and movement speed.

To be eligible for this trial, participants must be between 18 and 85 years old and have had a stroke at least three months prior. They should be able to walk at least 10 meters, even if they need some help. Participants will be monitored to ensure they meet specific criteria, like having some weakness in their ankle and being able to engage in the study without any major cognitive or physical issues that could interfere. Those who join the trial can expect to use the SURA device during their sessions, helping researchers understand how it might benefit their walking and overall mobility after a stroke.
