ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how an oral care program can help improve the oral hygiene of residents living in long-term care facilities. The goal is to see if better oral care can lead to healthier mouths for these individuals, which is important for their overall health and well-being.
To be eligible for this study, participants need to be able to eat by mouth and communicate in Chinese, as well as follow instructions and have normal hand functions. They should also be willing to participate and sign a consent form. However, people who are unconscious, have dementia and cannot communicate, or are severely limited in their mobility are not eligible. If someone joins the study, they can expect to receive special oral care while the researchers monitor the effects of the program. This trial is currently recruiting participants, and it welcomes individuals of all ages from 73 to 361 years old!
