ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the combined effects of two innovative treatments—Virtual Reality (VR) and Motor Imagery (MI)—along with standard physical therapy for people suffering from non-specific neck pain. Non-specific neck pain means that the pain isn't linked to any specific injury or disease, and it's something many people experience, often affecting their daily activities and overall quality of life. The trial aims to see if using VR and MI together can help reduce pain and improve movement and function better than traditional physical therapy alone.

To participate in this trial, individuals must be between the ages of 18 and 50 and have been experiencing neck pain for at least three months. Those who have specific conditions like severe neck injuries, certain neurological issues, or previous neck surgeries are not eligible. Participants will be divided into three groups and will receive treatment three times a week for six weeks, with each session lasting about 40 minutes. Throughout the trial, their pain levels, fear of movement, and daily functioning will be measured to see how well the treatments are working. This study is being conducted at Railway General Hospital in Rawalpindi, and they are currently looking for volunteers to take part.
