ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying the effects of a treatment called D-chiro-inositol for women who experience abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB), which means they have heavy or irregular periods. The trial will last for six months, during which participants will take D-chiro-inositol and fill out questionnaires about their bleeding patterns. Researchers will also check hormone levels in their blood to see how the treatment affects their condition.

To join the trial, participants must be female and have AUB. However, some women won't be eligible if they are postmenopausal, have certain types of cancer, or have other specific conditions like uterine fibroids. This study is currently not recruiting participants yet, but it aims to help understand if D-chiro-inositol can be an effective treatment for AUB. If you or someone you know is interested, it’s a good idea to stay informed about when the study starts and the details about participation.
