ClinConnect Summary
The clinical trial titled "Satisfaction With eMotion in a Diverse Group of Women" is studying a program called eMotion, which teaches women how to manage their emotions better, especially after experiencing serious heart problems. This program was specifically updated to meet the needs of women from different backgrounds, as they often face unique challenges during their recovery. The researchers want to find out if these women find the eMotion program helpful, relevant, and easy to understand, so they can make further improvements based on their feedback.
To participate in this study, women aged 65 to 74 who have had a first-time major heart event and are living independently may be eligible. They should also have at least mild symptoms of depression or anxiety, as measured by specific questionnaires. Participants can expect to share their thoughts on the eMotion program, which will help shape it to better serve women in the future. It’s important to note that those who are not comfortable with English, receiving palliative care, or legally blind cannot join this trial.
