ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special online self-help training program can improve mental health for women during and after pregnancy. It aims to find out if this program can help reduce feelings of depression and anxiety in women at different stages of pregnancy, as well as shortly after they give birth. The trial will compare two groups: one that participates in the self-help training and one that does not, to see which group has better mental health outcomes.
To participate in this study, women must be pregnant and fall into specific stages of pregnancy: early (0-13 weeks), mid (14-27 weeks), or late (28-32 weeks). They should be planning to have children during this pregnancy and able to complete some questionnaires on their own. However, women who are currently receiving treatment for depression or have serious mental health issues will not be eligible. If you join the trial, you can expect to engage with the online program and answer some questions about your feelings and experiences during pregnancy and a few weeks after delivery. This research is important because it can help find effective ways to support the mental well-being of pregnant women.
