ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is focusing on understanding two types of a rare lung disease called Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM). The researchers want to find out the differences between sporadic LAM, which occurs without any known cause, and TSC-associated LAM, which is linked to a genetic condition called Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. By studying these differences, they hope to improve how we diagnose and treat patients with this condition.
To be part of this study, you need to be at least 18 years old and have a chest scan (CT) that shows signs of cystic lung disease, which might be LAM. The trial is currently looking for participants, and anyone who qualifies will have the opportunity to contribute to important research. Participants can expect to undergo assessments that help the researchers learn more about their condition. Overall, this study aims to enhance our understanding of LAM and improve care for those affected by it.
