ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is looking to compare two different treatment techniques—called the Spencer and Reverse Distraction techniques—for patients with adhesive capsulitis, commonly known as frozen shoulder. Adhesive capsulitis causes stiffness and pain in the shoulder, making it difficult to move. The researchers want to find out which technique works better in improving shoulder movement and reducing discomfort.

To participate in this trial, you should be between 40 and 60 years old and have specific limitations in your shoulder movement. For example, if you can't raise your arm fully or turn it outward, you might be eligible. However, if you've had shoulder surgery in the past, have fractures, certain neurological or systemic conditions, or issues with your neck, you wouldn't be able to take part. If you join, you can expect to receive one of the two treatment techniques and will be monitored by healthcare professionals to see how well it helps your shoulder. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you think you might qualify, it's a good idea to talk to your doctor for more information.
