ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how effective a special app called Akina Cloud can be for helping people recover after hip replacement surgery. The app will guide participants through their rehabilitation, allowing them to connect with a therapist who can provide feedback and support. To join the study, participants need to be between 18 and 75 years old, have had a hip replacement surgery, and have access to a computer and the internet. They also need to be comfortable using a computer.
Once enrolled, participants will receive an introduction to the app just a few days after their surgery, while they are still in the hospital. They will use the app for at least 12 weeks, doing exercises three times a week for 20-30 minutes each time. Throughout the recovery process, they will complete several questionnaires to track their progress. There will be follow-up questionnaires sent via email at 6, 12, and 26 weeks after starting the program. This study is not yet recruiting participants, but it provides an exciting opportunity to improve recovery after surgery with the help of digital technology.
