ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial, called "Positive Dementia Caregiving," is looking at a new online training program designed to help family members who care for loved ones with dementia. The goal is to see if this program can improve caregivers' well-being and help them find positive meaning in their caregiving experience. Researchers will compare those who use the online program to a group that does not participate right away, to find out if the program really makes a difference in how caregivers feel and cope with challenges.
To take part in this study, caregivers need to have been providing care for someone with dementia for at least three months and spend at least ten hours a week caring for them. Participants must also be experiencing some level of stress, as indicated by a questionnaire. Once enrolled, caregivers will access the training program online at their own pace and complete some brief questionnaires at the start and then again after 1, 2, and 3 months. This study is currently recruiting participants aged 65 to 74, and it welcomes all genders.
