ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at a new program to help tackle childhood obesity in Spain, which is becoming a big health issue. The study aims to see how effective nutritional support from school nurses can be in helping children eat healthier and become more active. Childhood obesity can lead to serious health problems, including issues with the heart and bones, so finding ways to encourage better habits is really important.
To be part of this trial, children aged 6 to 16 who attend the participating schools can join, but they need permission from their parents or guardians. Participants will work closely with school nurses on nutrition and lifestyle changes to promote healthier living. It's important to note that children with certain health conditions, like diabetes or specific metabolic diseases, won't be eligible to participate. This trial is a great opportunity to help improve children's health and support families in making positive changes.
