ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how different exercise tests affect the oxygen levels in the intercostal muscles, which are the muscles between the ribs that help with breathing. The researchers want to understand how the oxygenation of these muscles influences the success of exercise tests. This information could help improve how we assess muscle performance during physical activity.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 18 and 35 years old and have a body mass index (BMI) of less than 25, which is considered a healthy weight. You cannot be a smoker or have any serious health conditions that might interfere with exercising, such as heart or lung diseases. If you join the study, you will undergo various exercise tests and the team will monitor how well your muscles are getting oxygen during these activities. This trial is currently looking for volunteers, and your participation could contribute to important findings in understanding muscle function during exercise.
