ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying a new way to help people with Parkinson's Disease improve their balance and walking through something called telerehabilitation. This means that instead of going to a clinic, participants will do exercises from home using a video call with a physiotherapist. The focus is on dual-task training, which combines physical exercises with mental activities to make both the body and mind stronger. The hope is that this method will make it easier for patients to move around safely and confidently in their daily lives.
To participate in this study, individuals must have a diagnosis of Parkinson's Disease and be able to walk independently. They should also be stable on their medication and have a certain level of cognitive function, meaning they can think and remember well enough to follow instructions. The study will involve 30 participants who will be divided into three groups, each doing different types of exercises three times a week for four weeks. Before and after the program, researchers will check how well the participants improved in their balance, walking, and overall activity levels. This trial aims to provide a convenient and effective way to enhance the quality of life for those living with Parkinson's.
