ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how holding someone's hand during an intramuscular injection affects feelings of pain and anxiety. The researchers want to find out if this simple gesture can help make the experience less stressful for patients receiving a vitamin B12 injection.
To take part in the study, participants should be between 18 and 65 years old, literate, and healthy enough to receive the injection without any issues. This means they should not have chronic pain, psychiatric disorders, or certain skin conditions around the injection area. If eligible, participants can expect to receive the vitamin B12 injection while someone holds their hand, and researchers will observe how this affects their pain and anxiety levels. The trial is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to provide helpful insights into improving the experience of medical injections.
