ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a specific pain relief technique, called a maxillary nerve block, can help patients feel less pain after a surgery called septoplasty, which is often performed to correct issues with the nose. The goal is to find a better way to manage pain after the surgery, making the recovery process more comfortable for patients.
To be eligible for this study, participants should be adults between the ages of 18 and 75 who are scheduled for septoplasty and are classified as ASA I or II, meaning they are generally healthy or have mild health concerns. Unfortunately, individuals with more serious health issues (ASA III or IV) or those who choose not to participate will not be included. If you join this study, you can expect to receive either the nerve block or standard pain management, and the researchers will monitor your pain levels and recovery to see which method works better. The trial is currently looking for volunteers to help with this important research.
