Artificial Intelligence Mental Health Diagnosis Medical Technology

ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is exploring how artificial intelligence (AI) can help diagnose mental health conditions and create treatment plans. The study has two main parts. In the first part, trained actors will simulate symptoms of mental illnesses while being interviewed by an AI. After the AI provides a diagnosis and treatment plan, a board-certified psychiatrist will do a similar evaluation, and their results will be compared. In the second part, the AI will work with real patients visiting the Sheba Medical Center for mental health support, and again, its findings will be compared with those of experienced psychiatrists.

To participate in this trial, individuals need to be over 18 years old and provide their consent. The actors involved will be trained professionals, while patients will be those coming for care at the hospital, including those in emergency situations. It's important to note that people who are currently part of another study or are under a court order cannot take part. This study aims to see if AI can be a helpful tool in diagnosing and treating mental health issues, potentially improving the care that patients receive.
