ClinConnect Summary
The INfectious DIsease REgistry BIObank trial is a research study aimed at understanding different types of serious infections, such as those affecting the bloodstream, bones, joints, and the central nervous system. The goal is to gather detailed information about these infections, including how they are diagnosed and treated, while also creating a biobank—a collection of biological samples that can be used for future research. This study is currently looking for participants who are at least 18 years old and have signs of an infection that is suspected or confirmed through medical tests.
If you or someone you know has a suspected infection and meets the study criteria, you may be eligible to participate. Those who join the study will be asked to provide consent and share their medical information, which will help researchers learn more about these infections and improve treatments. It’s important to note that participants must be able to understand the study and give consent, or have a legal representative to assist them. This trial is a great opportunity to contribute to medical knowledge while receiving care for an important health issue.
