ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new home-based cardiac rehabilitation program specifically designed for patients who have recently undergone Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) surgery. The aim is to help these patients follow their rehabilitation plan more closely using mobile technology. The researchers believe that by focusing on patients’ abilities, opportunities, and motivations, they can create a program that fits their needs and encourages better participation in their recovery process.
To participate in this study, individuals must be recent TAVR patients who are classified as having mild to moderate heart symptoms. They should be comfortable using mobile devices like smartphones and be willing to engage in a digital rehabilitation program. Unfortunately, patients with certain serious health issues, significant hearing or vision impairments, or cognitive challenges are not eligible. Those who join can expect support from a management system that provides real-time guidance and information to help them on their path to recovery at home.
