ClinConnect Summary

The clinical trial called "Emotional Problems in Preschool Children: Evaluation of the SuperKids Program" is designed to help young children, specifically those aged 4 to 6, manage emotional issues such as anxiety and depression. Researchers believe that addressing these problems early can prevent them from becoming bigger issues later in life. The study will test an 8-session program that teaches kids how to understand and manage their feelings, as well as how to interact better with others. The sessions will be conducted in groups and will include fun multimedia materials to keep the children engaged.

To be eligible for this trial, children must be between 4 and 6 years old. However, children with severe behavioral challenges, certain intellectual disabilities, or those currently receiving treatment for anxiety or depression will not be included. Families interested in participating should know that the study is currently recruiting participants, and the program aims to provide valuable skills to help children cope with their emotions in a supportive environment.
