ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring a new digital tool designed to help young people who have survived cancer manage feelings of depression. The tool allows users to track their mood daily and provides educational resources about cancer and depression. It also includes different evidence-based strategies to help improve mental health. The purpose of the study is to see how acceptable the procedures are for a larger trial, where the researchers will find out which parts of the tool are most effective in reducing depressive symptoms in adolescent and young adult survivors.
To participate in the trial, individuals must be between 15 and 39 years old and have completed their cancer treatment between one month and five years ago. Participants should also be fluent in English and own a smartphone with internet access. However, those with severe mental health issues or thoughts of suicide cannot take part. If eligible, participants can expect to use the tool, provide feedback on their experience, and help researchers understand how to improve support for young cancer survivors dealing with depression.
