ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how effective a special device called a closed-loop spinal cord stimulator is for treating Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a condition that causes severe pain, often in one limb. The researchers want to find out if starting this treatment early, when the pain is new (acute or subacute), works better than starting it later, when the pain has been present for a long time (chronic).
To participate in this study, you must be at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with CRPS type 1 or type 2. You should not have had any previous treatments involving spinal cord stimulation or similar methods. Participants will need to be cleared by a psychologist before the procedure. If you join the trial, you can expect to receive this new treatment and help researchers understand how timing affects pain relief. The trial is currently looking for volunteers, and both men and women can participate.
