ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how machine learning, which is a type of computer technology that learns from data, can help keep patients safe in psychiatric clinics. The goal is to identify risky behaviors—such as thoughts of self-harm or suicide—before they happen. By doing this, healthcare professionals can step in early to support patients and create a safer environment for everyone. This is especially important for patients who may be struggling with mental health issues, as their safety is a top priority.
Anyone who is an adult patient receiving inpatient treatment in a psychiatric clinic may be eligible to participate in this study, but people under 18 will not be included. If you or a family member joins the trial, you can expect to be part of a system that uses advanced technology to help identify potential risks. This study is in the planning stages and is not yet recruiting participants, but it aims to improve safety measures in psychiatric care.
