ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how Motivational Enhancement Therapy (MET) can help older adults with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) improve their health and well-being. MET is a therapy that encourages patients to find their own reasons for making positive changes in their lives, focusing on personal goals and creating plans to achieve them. The trial is currently looking for participants who are between 60 and 80 years old and have COPD.
If you or a loved one qualifies, you can expect to take part in several therapy sessions where a trained therapist will guide you in identifying what changes you want to make and how to reach those goals. This study is designed to help you feel more motivated and in control of your health. Your participation could contribute to important research that may benefit others with COPD in the future.
