ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how a special type of fritter, called a personalized innovative fritter, affects the nutritional health of overweight and obese people aged 40 to 70 years. The main goal is to see if these unique fritters can help improve health compared to regular fritters. Participants will be split into two groups: one will eat the personalized fritters, while the other will eat traditional fritters that have the same amount of calories. Over six months, researchers will closely monitor the participants’ health and well-being through various tests and examinations.
To join the study, you need to be between 40 and 70 years old (women should be menopausal) and have a body mass index (BMI) over 24, meaning you are considered overweight. You should also eat fritters more than once a week. However, there are some health conditions that would exclude you from participating, such as diabetes or heart disease, and certain life situations like being pregnant or recently losing a lot of weight. If you qualify and decide to participate, you'll be contributing to important research that may lead to better nutritional options for people with metabolism and nutrition disorders.
