ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying different methods of pain control for patients undergoing total knee replacement surgery. The researchers want to compare three specific nerve block techniques to see if they provide similar levels of pain relief after surgery. Participants will receive either a Femoral Nerve Block, a Saphenous Nerve Block, or a Subsartorial Block, along with spinal anesthesia, and the team will look at how well each method works over the first 24 hours after the procedure.
To participate, individuals must be 18 years or older and scheduled for an elective total knee replacement. They should not be on chronic opioid therapy or have conditions that affect blood clotting. Participants can expect to be part of a study that helps improve pain management for future knee surgery patients. It’s important for potential participants to understand the purpose of the study and to provide informed consent before joining.
