ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying Diabetic Kidney Disease (DKD) among diabetic patients in Bangladesh, where diabetes is a growing health issue that affects millions of people. The goal of the study is to find out how common DKD is and how well it is being managed in healthcare centers linked to the Bangladesh Diabetic Association (BADAS). Researchers will look at various factors, such as risk factors for DKD, how patients are screened for it, and the treatment options available. They hope to gather valuable information that can help improve patient care for those living with diabetes.
To participate in this study, you must be a registered diabetic patient receiving care at one of the BADAS-affiliated centers. However, if you are unwilling to take part, are pregnant, or have kidney disease from other causes, you won’t be eligible. If you do join the study, you can expect to provide information about your health, including your kidney function and any medications you take. The study is currently recruiting participants, and the insights gained will help enhance the care and management of diabetic patients in Bangladesh.
