ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is exploring how nature-themed chatbots can help improve the mental health of older adults who live alone. The study aims to see if these chatbots, which interact with users about nature and its benefits, can reduce feelings of depression and loneliness while promoting happiness and overall well-being. Participants will engage with the chatbots and complete some questionnaires to measure any changes in their mental health during the study.
To be eligible for this trial, you should be at least 60 years old and live alone. You’ll need to regularly use a smartphone with internet access and be familiar with the LINE app, which is a messaging platform. If you decide to participate, you’ll be asked to give your consent and answer some questions before and after using the chatbot. However, if you don’t have a smartphone or internet access, or if you have certain health conditions that need ongoing treatment, you won’t be able to join. This study is not currently recruiting participants, but it aims to help improve the quality of life for older adults by using technology in a supportive way.
