ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying anal incontinence, which is a condition where individuals have trouble controlling their bowel movements, and how it affects the daily lives and activities of Hungarian women who have given birth. The researchers want to understand how common this issue is among women in Hungary and how it impacts their quality of life. They are also working to create a Hungarian version of a questionnaire specifically designed to assess bowel-related problems, ensuring it is accurate and reliable for use.
To participate in this study, women need to be between the ages of 65 and 74, have given birth at least once, and speak Hungarian as their first language. However, certain health conditions, like menopause, inflammatory bowel diseases, or neurological disorders, would prevent someone from joining the trial. Participants can expect to complete questionnaires about their experiences and may contribute to important research that helps improve healthcare for women facing anal incontinence.
