ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying the effects of not performing surgery on children with congenital lung malformations (CLMs). The researchers want to see how not having surgery affects parents' anxiety levels when their children are between 6 and 9 years old. They believe that if surgery is avoided, it might lead to less stress for the child and the family, even though there is still a small risk of complications.
To be eligible for this trial, children must be part of the MALFPULM cohort and have had at least one follow-up visit between the ages of 0 and 2. Their parents must also agree to participate. The trial is currently looking for participants, and both children and their parents will be involved in the study. Families can expect to share their experiences and feelings about parenting a child with a congenital lung issue over several years, which will help researchers understand the broader impact of these conditions on family life.
