ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is studying how therapeutic touch during childbirth might affect pain levels, the duration of labor, feelings about the birth experience, and anxiety. The goal is to see if this gentle touch can make the birthing process more comfortable and positive for women who are about to experience a vaginal delivery.
To participate in the trial, women need to be between 65 and 74 years old, have a healthy pregnancy without complications, and be expecting one baby. They should not have any serious health issues for themselves or their baby, and they should agree to take part in the study. It’s important to know that women who require certain medical interventions, like vacuum or forceps assistance during delivery, are not eligible for this study.
