ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how different types of soleus push-ups, a specific exercise targeting a muscle in your lower leg, can affect blood sugar levels in young adults. Researchers want to find out if doing these push-ups at a moderate intensity for a short time is better for blood sugar control compared to doing them for a longer period at a steady pace. They hope to learn more about how exercise can help maintain healthy blood glucose levels, which is important for overall health.
To participate in this trial, you need to be a healthy young adult aged 18 to 35 years, regardless of whether you are male or female, and have a healthy weight. However, if you have any heart problems, neurological issues, knee injuries, lower limb injuries, or if you are diabetic, you would not be eligible to join. If you decide to participate, you can expect to engage in a simple exercise routine and help researchers gain valuable insights that could benefit others in managing their blood sugar levels through physical activity.
