ClinConnect Summary
This clinical trial is looking at how adding two different medications, Propofol and Ketamine, to magnesium and lidocaine infusions can help reduce bleeding during nasal surgeries. The goal is to improve the surgical experience by ensuring the surgical team has a clear view of the area they are working on, which is important for the safety and success of the procedure.
To participate in this study, you need to be between 6 and 74 years old and scheduled for an elective nasal surgery. You should be in good health overall, without serious conditions like uncontrolled high blood pressure, heart disease, or issues with your kidneys, liver, or brain. If you are pregnant or have certain blood disorders, you won't be eligible. If you join the trial, you will receive either Propofol or Ketamine alongside the other medications during your surgery, and the doctors will monitor how well it works in reducing bleeding. This study is currently recruiting participants, so if you think you might qualify, it’s a good idea to talk to your healthcare provider for more information.
