ClinConnect Summary

This clinical trial is studying a new program designed to help young people with epilepsy improve their social skills and emotional support. Youth with epilepsy often feel isolated and may experience difficulties in relationships, which can affect their overall well-being. The goal of this study is to see if this program can successfully provide young people ages 12 to 26 with the tools and connections they need to feel more supported and connected to others.

To participate, individuals must have an active epilepsy diagnosis and be able to read and communicate in English at a basic level. It's essential that they can join meetings online, as the program will be conducted via Zoom. Participants will have the opportunity to share their thoughts on the program and how it helps them, which will help researchers understand what works well and what could be improved. The study is currently recruiting participants, and those who might find participation too stressful for their health will be excluded to ensure their well-being.
